Appointments to the Elgin Election Joint Compliance Audit Committee

The Town of Aylmer, the Municipality of Bayham, the Municipality of Central Elgin, the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, the Municipality of West Elgin, the Township of Malahide, and the Township of Southwold are currently seeking interested applicants with accounting, auditing and legal experience, from professionals who are required to adhere to codes or standards of their profession and from individuals with in depth knowledge of the campaign financing rules of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, for appointment to the Elgin Election Joint Compliance Audit Committee.

DEADLINE for submissions is Friday, May 18, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.

Residents of the Villages will be receiving flyers in their Postal Boxes.  Any residents who indicated that they do not want Flyers will be required to pick-up Garbage or Recycling Schedules at the municipal office or print their own copies off of the website.

West Elgin Community Health Centre and Dutton Medical Centre Accepting New Patients

This a reminder for local residents without a doctor that the West Elgin Community Health Centre (WECHC) in West Lorne and Dutton Medical Centre are accepting new patients.

The Southwest Integrated Fibre Technology Network is collecting information about how residents, farms, businesses and public sector organizations currently use internet across the region.  This information will help determine where SWIFT will invest is funding and support in achieving its goals of efficiently and effectively building "broadband for everyone."
