Seasonal Tick Notice

Have you found a tick on a human? Submit a photo through eTick.ca and have it identified online instead of visiting the health unit during COVID-19.

Download the eTick.ca app (https://www.etick.ca/) on Google Play or the App Store, snap a photo of the tick and submit it. An expert will identify the tick within 48-hours and contact you via email with the results and any necessary public health measures.

Rodney Pool

While the Province announced that outdoor pools can reopen as of Friday June 12, 2020, there are several items that need to be addressed before West Elgin can open the Rodney pool, in order to ensure the safety of residents and staff.

Staff are diligently working on a plan to open this facility safely and provide this service to our community.  A plan will be presented to West Elgin Council at the June 25, 2020 Council meeting.

West Elgin Splash Pad will be open daily as of 10 am on Friday June 12, 2020.  Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and gathering limits of 10 persons.  

Please note this facility is NOT sanitized and users are reminded to use at own risk.  Please be advised that at this time the washrooms in Miller Park are not open for public use.
