Road Closure
There will be a road closure on Monday, September 25 at 112 Queens Line in Rodney. This closure will begin at 7:30 am and is expected to last until 5:00 pm. Queens Line between Kerr Road and Furnival Road will be local traffic only and there will be no access for emergency services through the site during this period. Properties east of this closure will need to be accessed via Kerr Road while properties west of this closure must be accessed via Furnival Road.
Our Municipality has over 350 kilometers of roads! This includes 48 kilometers of paved, 190 kilometers of gravel, 100 kilometers of County Roads, and 15 kilometers in Rodney and West Lorne.
Report a Concern
Please Report a Concern if you have issues with road maintenance or notice damage like potholes.
If you would like to add a new laneway, you will need to fill out a Road Occupancy/Entrance Permit. There is a $200 non-refundable fee for road occupancy or entrance permit and a $400 refundable fee for entrance permit or $1,000 refundable for road occupancy permit.
Sidewalks
We maintain almost 17 kilometers of sidewalks in Rodney and West Lorne! Each year, we close our sidewalks between November 1 and April 1. To find out which sidewalks are maintained during the winter, visit our Winter Maintenance page.
Mailboxes
If your mailbox has been damaged by Municipal equipment, report it to the Municipality or contact our Public Works Supervisor by email or by calling 519-785-0560 ext. 233.

We have a program for requesting and maintaining persons with disability warning signs. If you wish to request a sign for your neighbourhood please fill out this form. Once complete a staff member from Operations and Community Services will contact you.
