  • Winter Maintenance

Our Municipality has over 350 kilometers of roads! This includes 48 kilometers of paved, 190 kilometers of gravel, 100 kilometers of County Roads, and 15 kilometers in Rodney and West Lorne.

Report a Concern

Please Report a Concern if you have issues with road maintenance or notice damage like potholes.

If you would like to add a new laneway, you will need to fill out a Road Occupancy/Entrance Permit.  There is a $120 non-refundable fee for road occupancy or entrance permit and a $450 refundable fee for entrance permit or $1,100 refundable for road occupancy permit.

Sidewalks

We maintain almost 17 kilometers of sidewalks in Rodney and West Lorne! Each year, we close our sidewalks between November 1 and April 1. To find out which sidewalks are maintained during the winter, visit our Winter Maintenance page.

Mailboxes

If your mailbox has been damaged by Municipal equipment, report it to the Municipality or contact our Public Works Supervisor by email or by calling 519-785-0560 ext. 233.
