Council in West Elgin
West Elgin Council meetings are recorded on zoom and posted on our Municipal Website, with in person access to meetings.
All meetings are recorded through Zoom and then a link to the meeting recording will be posted on the Council Calendar, pending no technical difficulties. Meeting minutes will be made public on our website, once adopted by Council.
We have Regular Council Meetings on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. We only have one meeting in July, August and December. Please subscribe to our Council Calendar, for a full list of dates.
All members of the public are welcomed to attend the Council Meetings in person.
We hold our meetings in Council Chambers at the West Lorne Complex at 160 Main St., West Lorne, and our meetings start at 4:00 pm, or at the call of the Chair. Our Council is comprised of one Mayor, one Deputy Mayor, and three ward Councillors:

Delegations
Please fill out a Delegation Request, if you would like to speak at a Council Meeting. You must submit the form by 12:00 pm. on the Monday before the Council meeting you wish to attend. You may submit the form online or in person, at the front desk, at the Municipal Office.
