NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS:

It has been brought to our attention again that some residents have received an email, with an attachment, which appeared to be from the Municipality. This email was falsely claiming that our banking information and credit card payment gateway has changed. We DO NOT accept e-transfers, credit cards, or EFT/direct deposit as a form of payment.

This email is a scam, and we strongly urge anyone that received this email to please disregard it and report it to the OPP Reporting Center at 519-310-1122. Any fraud concerns should be emailed to IT@westelgin.net.
