Reduced Load Limits

Spring Load Restrictions in Effect

The warmer weather is telling us spring is near and that means reduced load limits come into effect.   Reduced loads on municipal roadways will be in effect from 12:00 am on March 1, 2021 until 11:59 pm April 30, 2021 (weather dependent).  Vehicles are restricted to a maximum of five (5) tonnes per axle on a majority of the roads during the spring thaw.  This is done to protect the road base from damage caused by wheel loads of heavy vehicles...
