NOTICE OF INTENT TO PASS A BY-LAW

PURSUANT TO SECION 222 OF THE MUNICIPAL ACT, 2001

That the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Elgin intends to pass By-laws pursuant to Section 222 of the Municipal Act, 2001, for the purpose of dissolving the Ward System for Municipal Elections, at the Regular Meeting of Council, May 8, 2025.

Note: Pursuant to By-law 2007-113, this shall serve as Public Notice should the passing of the By-law for the purpose of dissolving the Ward System for Municipal Elections 2026 be deferred to a future meeting.
