Elgin County Official Plan Update

Discussion Paper #3 Now Available!

 As part of the County’s Official Plan Review process, we have developed Discussion Paper #3 - Elgin Natural Heritage Systems Study, Source Water Protection, and Environmental Policy Amendments. As per Council’s direction, the public will have an opportunity to review the draft Elgin Natural Heritage Systems Strategy (2019) and provide their feedback and input on the recommendations from this report. Policies on Source Water Protection will also be addressed...

Drop Box Unavailable Until Further Notice

Reminder that the Drop Box at the Municipal Office is temporarily unavailable.  Municipal mailing address remains the same (22413 Hoskins Line).  A notice will be placed when the box is once again available. 

New Official Plan Project – Background Report Released

Due to truck issues Waste Connections was unable to collect all of the recycling in parts of West Lorne yesterday.  They will be collecting this today on top of the usual route.
