New Fire Chief

Mayor Duncan McPhail is proud to announce that Jeff McArthur has been appointed Fire Chief, effective July 1, 2020.  West Elgin has entered into a shared services agreement with the Municipality of Southwold, where Jeff has been Fire Chief since 2018.  Mayor McPhail also would like to thank Deputy Chief Al Beer for assuming interim responsibility for the West Elgin Fire Department since the departure of the previous Chief in 2019.
